Details

Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach is a one-of-a-kind projection art festival where artists use the latest digital technologies to project their original works onto the iconic white walls of it. We were invited by our professor John Collette to participate with our projects from his class. We had total freedom in the creation of the content for the architectural butteries at both entry points to the city. This content would welcome the incoming traffic to the town.

Process

We developed an exploration of mediums by mixing paint over plastic sheets while spreading it through the edges.  This created different patterns that we photographed and placed together to portray a narrative that can provoke different feelings.

Below you can see the prototype we created prior to the projection on the large structure to visualize how it would look like.
